Overview
The Unit of Measure (UOM) feature allows administrators to define how items are measured, sold, and tracked within the BlueKat system.
Units of Measure are used when managing products, processing customer orders, generating invoices, and controlling warehouse inventory operations.
Examples of units include:
- Pounds (LBS)
- Pieces (PC)
- Cases (CS)
- Bags (BAG)
- Each (EA)
Defining accurate Units of Measure ensures that item quantities, pricing, and warehouse operations remain consistent throughout the system.
